Renaissance at Steele

Completed in 2021, Renaissance at Steele is a redeveloped 146-unit apartment complex in the Frayser community of Memphis, TN. ComCap served as co-developer with a community development corporation, The Works Inc., on the $18 million project. Once a blighted apartment complex, the site is now home to quality, energy-efficient, and affordable apartments with a community gathering space and supportive services. The redevelopment effort was funded through low-income housing tax credits, conventional debt, philanthropic support, and local public funds.
